A curated collection of album, single, EP and digital releases - occasionally, but not consistently, under the banner of The Legends of Tomorrow.
A 2 CD multi-artist live album organised by Colin Harper, recorded at Belfast’s legendary Rotterdam Warehouse in April 1995 and released locally. Although this was pre-Legends, it is where the story starts – lots of future Legends alumni are found among the 12 acts herein.

A 2 CD Bert Jansch tribute album curated by Colin Harper and released nationally on Market Square (CD only). Fronted by Janet Holmes, with Martin Hayes on violin, the Legends perform the title track, which was later remixed for inclusion on Janet’s The Road to the West (2004).

A 2004 Janet Holmes (later Janet Henry) album backed by the Legends in disguise, mostly recorded during 2000–2001. Half the tracks written by Colin Harper, with lots of unused outtakes that would filter out in due course. Originally released on Market Square Records.

A 2004 various-artists album released in support of WWF and Ulster Wildlife. Some existing Legends tracks were repurposed for it and a couple of new ones recorded – plus tracks licensed from/recorded especially by other artists. Released nationally on Market Square Records (CD only).

A 2010 vocal album recorded in parallel to the instrumental Titanium Flag. Unusually, features Colin Harper on vocals (arm-twisted by producer Cormac O’Kane). Four tracks were appended to the 2017 expanded edition of Titanium Flag.
A 2010 instrumental album inspired by two books on Arctic history. This is the original 200-copy CD version. In 2017, it was expanded – with three new tracks recorded by the original team of players and four cuts from Rust – and re-presented as a national release.
A 2016 album credited to Colin Harper (but the Legends, really) featuring collaborations with Andy Powell, Chris Spedding, Premix Tubbs, Steven Kindler, Duffy Power and Bert Jansch – along with usual suspects. The CD version includes an extensive booklet.
A 2017 remastered and expanded edition of the 2010 instrumental album credited to Colin Harper (but the Legends, really) – an Arctic history concept album with strings and woodwind. Jan Akkerman guests on one track. CD version includes vintage maps and extensive booklet.
A 2019 digital single written in homage to Bert Jansch. Mark Case filmed Colin performing it for the Jansch Foundation’s ‘Around the World in 80 Plays’ project. Demo version of ‘Rachelle’ and Bert & Colin’s ‘Blues for a Green Earth’ on the B-side.
A 2019 digital release as Bourgeois Fury (the political wing of the Legends) in collaboration with punk legend Petesy Burns (Stalag 17/The Outcasts) – in protest at NI Assemble members being paid while sulking at home for three years. Mark Case created a fabulous promo video.
A 2019 digital EP and the revival of the Legends’ name. Two new tracks, three remastered ones – with Minnows mainman / old pal Mickey Rafferty being welcomed into the Legends fold on the title track.
A 2020 digital single from Bourgeois Fury, fronted on this occasion by Dave McLarnon, still howling at the mediocrity and entitlement of NI politicians. Another terrific promo filmed by Mark Case.
A 2022 album released in a limited CD edition (17 tracks) and digital version (12 tracks). Unusually for the Legends, features seven CH originals and ten covers, including two Horslips numbers featuring two of Horslips: Barry and Jim.
A 2022 digital single edit of the Days Full of Rain version of ‘All We Need is Love’.
A 2023 Legends of Tomorrow 25-year anthology focused on the pop/rock stuff. Features two new tracks and several remixes of oldies plus a 32-page booklet. Nationally released (physical/digital) by Talking Elephant.
A 2023 digital single edit of the Katie Spencer vocal version from The Weather at World’s End. The edit was created in response to demand from radio and carried out by troubadour (and Legends alumnus) Sarah McQuaid and engineer Martin Stansbury. Marry Waterson created the fabulous promo video.
A forthcoming non-album digital single and video in homage to Legends alumnus Brian Houston, after (erroneous) rumours of his retirement circulated. Features Mickey Raff, Linley Hamilton, Dave McLarnon, Ali Mackenzie, CH and Feargal O’Kane (the original Legends drummer returning after a 26-year tea-break) – plus Houston himself!
